nourish. empower. connect.
Whether it is Sunday dinner with the family, mixing the perfect cocktail, or enjoying a quiet afternoon break with a well-brewed cup of tea and a smidge of dark chocolate - creating rituals around food, good drink, and gathering allow us to feel more grounded, nourished and empower us to connect on a deeper level to ourselves, our traditions, and each other. The Fundamentals.
While our shop is stocked full of all sorts of gadgets, tools, pans, linens, barware and appliances, our goal is not to sell you everything, but rather, just the thing.
Our relationship to food and cooking is influenced by various factors over the course of our lives. Our experienced team listens to how you are cooking now and care about offering advice relative to your specific needs and goals. We believe good quality materials and tools do not always mean spending a fortune and that more is not necessarily better. We believe in having tools in our own kitchens that serve multiple functions and that certain tools are helpful when building a well-equipped kitchen. Learn more about our suggestions HERE.
“Food is everything we are.
It’s an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling,
your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma.
It’s inseparable from those from the get-go.”
- Anthony Bourdain
